Hey everyone~!! Hope you all had a wonderful Sabbath and good luck to you guys with exams this week!! By WEDNESDAY I need to report to ASA for the symposium about how NASA is going, so my plan is to give a 400 word rehash of the minutes from the meeting, as well as any input you would like~! Please add any suggestions to the comments on this post and I’ll plug it in to the report. Keep warm!!

ASA symposium welcomes you!! AND….BONUS: Free bus from Sydney to Canberra thanks to SASS!!! (Sydney adventist students) The bus leaves on the Sunday, 1st of July so it takes into account the optional snow day!
That makes the cost $250 for the whole period (3rd to 8th July)
There is still time!! Registration closes June 18th. Visit www.myasa.org.au for further details, and if you’re interested in the bus you can put up a post up on the forum and I’ll get in touch with Sam, the SASS leader for more details.Â
God bless!

The Adventist Students Association (ASA) is the national Adventist university ministry in Australia. The vision of ASA is to develop a vibrant and growing network of Adventist university student groups, and over the last 3 years, the ASAteam has been developing a progressive strategy for making this vision a reality. By joining our ASAteam, you will have the opportunity to transform the lives of university students on campuses all around Australia. Check out the following opportunities that are available within the ASAteam. The specific roles that are available are:
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Public Relations/Promotional Officer
- Y12 Outreach Director
- Mission Director
- Symposium Convenor 2008
Scroll down for more information on these roles. The initial time commitment would be for one academic year, from January to December 2008. We would recommend people who are demonstrating significant potential as leaders and team-players to commit to the team for two years. Decisions regarding these positions will be made at the AGM which will be held at the ASA Symposium in July 2007, and it is important that you come to ASA Symposium to become part of the ASA Team 2008. See the ASA website http://www.myasa.org.au/ for more details.
Hi everyone.
I guess because of the lack of warning (sorry about that…) we only had half a dozen people turn up for last Friday meeting. However, the ones that turned up put on their thinking caps and thought that we could get more people to come if we have the meeting next Saturday night, as well as dinner!
So here are the details:
When? 9 June 2007 @ 5 pm
Where? Evey’s place @ Unit 1/58 Close Street - Wallsend
Who? Everyone with an interest in NASA (So, tell your friends because word of mouth is still the best way to let people know)
What? We will close Sabbath, talk about NASA leadership, eat some delicious food, and whatever else you decide!
How? The best way you can!
Why? Why not?
So, if you want to start exams on the right foot, come and have fun with us.
And don’t forget to let as many people know about the meeting, and about this site.
May God bless you during this week!
PS. If you can, please bring drinks or nibbles. NASA will be providing pizza.
