Hope you can join us at Damien’s home at 7pm for study, prayer and fellowship.

Prayer Group: When are we meeting?
Mar 10th, 2009 by Lety

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been told to post this information here. I know I’ve already sent it to you, but someone was kind enough to tell me that it should be done through the official channels.

The message is just a straight cut and copy of the one I sent the contacts on my list. But so no one involved in NASA misses out, here it is:

“I really would live to organise BEFORE we start Uni what time we would all like to meet up for prayer. Please if you could let me know your preferences for days and times, that would be great. We can just meet up for a half our if that’s all people can spare of time; however, I’d honestly like to have an hour of prayer, if everyone is ok with that.

If there is sufficient interest in the prayer group, we could have two groups running throughout the week (I may have already mentioned this in a previous email). However, I am aware of the fact that some people have hectic timetables, so if there is only enough numbers for one group, that’s fine too.

Here’s how we’ll organise preferences. List two days that you would be prepared to meet up for prayer and suggest ONE time for each day.

I hope to hear your answers soon. God bless you all! And remember to write back with any suggestions you may have.

Lety xo”–End of copied message.

P.S. If I have missed anyone off the previous list, or if you think you may know others who are interested in the prayer group, please let them know about the plans being made!!

ASA Convention ‘09
Oct 13th, 2008 by Damien

The ASA annual convention is coming this January. From Jan 5 -11, this fantastic event has been organised by ASA and our SASS friends from Sydney. Location is as close as ever, on the beautiful Central Coast. This is the best opportunity to be a part of the most fun things that ASA can organise for you. It will be a great week of enjoyable activities and relaxing. So if you’re missing the joys of Big Camp, want to make new friends or catch up with your good mates, or have never experienced an ASA Convention before, check out the website myasa.org.au to register.

I will see you on the ‘Coast in January.

Youth Church
May 21st, 2008 by Damien

Youth Church is coming around again. Mark the 31st of May on your calendar, because you’ve absolutely got to be there. Wallsend always puts on a great worship service for anyone who turns up. I myself have missed out of late and will NOT be truanting next Sabbath. Turn up early for free breakfast, all are welcome!

See you there

SASS Camp: Our Sydney family
May 20th, 2008 by Emma Grace

Sydney Adventist Student Association had a very cool camp during ANZAC day long weekend down at Wombeyan Caves. Was amazing to experience God’s creation; from the falling autumn leaves to the freezing cold cave water!! There was the good old haystacks experience of Sabbath lunch, a talk on God’s team being the winning team, walks up hills and down cliffs, and Bible trivia to add to the mix :) Will be great to catch up with our Sydney family in future events, and at ASA Symposium!!!! ;)

Congrats Graduates
Apr 11th, 2008 by Damien

To all those who have endured years of suffering and sever sleep deprivation, next weeks marks the end of it all. By this, of course I mean graduation is happenning. Congratulations to all those who have completed Uni and are on their way to prosperity and normal life. You have done extremely well to make it this far.

If you know any former / current NASA members or local sevies who are graduating, please let us know and we can organise a little something for them. Cheers and all the best for the rest of your life.

God Bless,

Damien
