A couple of weeks ago, I received an email about this new resource for young leaders. I had a quick browse, but I needed to come back. Because I had a bit of extra time today, I decided to have a more in depth look at this resource.

It is a digital magazine called “Catalyst Leadership” presented as a flash application, but still very accessible. The topics are interesting, but what I really liked were the sharing of experiences from actual young leaders.

Anyway, I’ll let you decide by yourself, but I believe that you’ll definitely find something worth in it. A bit of a warning, there’s quite a bit of “relevant” advertising among the good stuff.

You can find it here: Catalyst Leadership.

Have a great weekend, and don’t forget to drop us line with your thoughts.

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been told to post this information here. I know I’ve already sent it to you, but someone was kind enough to tell me that it should be done through the official channels.

The message is just a straight cut and copy of the one I sent the contacts on my list. But so no one involved in NASA misses out, here it is:

“I really would live to organise BEFORE we start Uni what time we would all like to meet up for prayer. Please if you could let me know your preferences for days and times, that would be great. We can just meet up for a half our if that’s all people can spare of time; however, I’d honestly like to have an hour of prayer, if everyone is ok with that.

If there is sufficient interest in the prayer group, we could have two groups running throughout the week (I may have already mentioned this in a previous email). However, I am aware of the fact that some people have hectic timetables, so if there is only enough numbers for one group, that’s fine too.

Here’s how we’ll organise preferences. List two days that you would be prepared to meet up for prayer and suggest ONE time for each day.

I hope to hear your answers soon. God bless you all! And remember to write back with any suggestions you may have.

Lety xo”–End of copied message.

P.S. If I have missed anyone off the previous list, or if you think you may know others who are interested in the prayer group, please let them know about the plans being made!!

Hi there friends of NASA! I would like to wish you a very happy and blessed Sabbath.

This is the first Sabbath before Uni commences, so make the most of it! Enjoy your worship, fellowship, and peace with the ones you love (and will learn to love).

If you are away from home for the first time (or just homesick) remember that your church family is there for you. Make an effort to say hello to the people you meet. Remember they may be as shy as you at first, but a glowing smile will take you a long way.

If you are a local, be on the alert for newcomers, and make them feel at home. Who knows? You may meet your new best friend.

May this Sabbath be full of peace and joy!

How blessed we are with the love that God has given to us, and put in our hearts to love each other.

I have rarely seen so much love and community as we saw at the Feast of Love that concluded the Life Group Bible Study for this year. It was just incredible to see everyone being a part of a whole (organic!), everyone sharing sharing with their gifts and talents.

I would like to specially thank “the girls” for hosting such a beautiful and peaceful evening. I would also like to thank every person that was there that night for reaffirming my belief that Jesus has a loving church on this earth that is getting ready, and helping others to get ready, to live with him for eternity.

My prayers are with everyone that is finishing their studies for this year, for those who have already finished, so that God may restore our strength and faith during the break so we can came back next year with renewed energy and ready to serve him.
